"Don´t wait for the perfect moment. Take the moment and make it perfect!" My name is Claudia, I am from Austria, 32 years old and I have always been a world traveller (South America, Africa, Europe, Caribbean, USA) from I was a child. I have seen so many places, went to school in England, Spain, France and Malta, but when I came to Jamaica on holidays for the 1st time 2008, it captured my heart and my spirit. After many years visiting Jamaica, I finally decided to move here in 2013. Through I did my research for my Master Degree on the island on "Rent-a-dreads", female tourists and their influence on the Jamaican family structure , I know all the tourist areas like Negril, Ocho Rios and Montego Bay very well and can give my guests a lot of insider tips concerning spots on the Island. I can also arrange trips with the guests and show them arround if requested, I am really flexible and happy to help to make my guests feel comfortable and secure! Kingston is my favourite spot on the Island, it´s the "realest" place to experience Jamaica´s culture, far away from the busy tourist areas on the north coast. Kingston has a great nightlife to offer (monday till sunday parties till sunrise), exklusive restaurants with delicious food (local and international), the people here are more decent and reserved and the beach is not that far neither (just 20min.driving)! But still, I would suggest every visitor to take a trip to the "country", that´s how Jamaicans call the green parishes of the island outside of "Town" (Kingston). What I realized about visitors who come to Jamaica and they fell in love with the beauty of the island and the variety of the country and its culture, that they will always come back here, and all these people have this ONE thing in common - WE LOVE THIS PLACE! And Jamaica really becomes to many visitors addictive! Beside living on my dream island Jamaica, I love to cook. So dont wonder if you will catch me cooking up a storm in the kitchen when you are staying with me! :) I will love to welcome you to my home, as long as we treat each other with common courtesy! I mostly collected good experience as being a host on Airbnb, I only got issues with guests who violate my houserules. Beside that my guests consider me as a cool person to hang out with.
