About Valentin

Good things:
- in the central
- you can go easily anywhere

bad things:
- very dark room
- not much natural light
- really small room
- no soap to wash your hands after toilet (there were two ill people in the flat) I got ill too

I shall try not to criticize but simply state facts. I arrived in Barcelona on January 22nd at 14:00. I had already booked this private room at Arago 235 since the 20th (and I have the document to prove it). Before arriving to this address I had already send to my so-called ´´host´´ Valentin S. a couple of messages asking him if he could pick me up from the airport, adding that I was going to pay for his fuels, naturally. He never answered! When I arrived at the address noone was waiting for me, although I had already wrote to my ´´host´´ the time of my arrival. I called him using the taxi driver´s mobile since my own was out of battery (a result due to the 31 hour trip I just had arriving from Colombia). This person (named Carlos) answered, saying that he was sending someone there to attend me. An hour later, and still waiting out in the cold, I called him back from the mobile of a resident of that building and he once more assured me that a girl was.. ***continues on Rate your host..

Wer diese Unterkunft mietet sollte keine größeren Erwartungen haben, als ein Dach über den Kopf zu haben. Das Zimmer war ziemlich hellhörig und direkt neben dem Bad, sodass man bei jeder Spülung dachte, es tropft an den Wänden herunter. Die Sauberkeit vom Fußboden und Bettbezügen ließ sehr zu wünschen übrig. Genauso wie die Küche, deren Benutzung ich niemanden nahe legen würde. Aber zumindest gab es einen Ventilator. Das Positive: Die Lage ist relativ zentral und man erreicht mit der Metro innerhalb weniger Minuten jedes Ziel. Fazit: Selbst nur zum schlafen ist diese Wohnung eine Zumutung, aber bei dem Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist das wohl nicht anders zu erwarten!
