About Nuno

I think life is a wonderful enterprise because there's an infinite source of wonder and discovery to be made: there are practically an infinity of persons, places and cultures to discover in this planet. Life is too short for the things you can do with it! I like to live my life at it's fullest : ) I'm originally a Computer Engineer. I worked as such for a few years but then I found the amazing world of volunteering and the non-profit sector. I co-founded a Youth Association (now an NGO) that essentially promotes youth volunteering and active citizenship. I decided that I love to work to and for people, so I worked in the non-profit sector for a few years. Meanwhile I found out I wanted to gain more qualifications to work fully and professionally in the non-profit sector so I decided to go back to university and now I'm studying Psychology! : ) I'm loving it!! So you can see I'm pretty open to all ways of thinking and topics of conversation from Geeky Computer Engineer stuff to philosophical, political and psychological stuff! And off course that I LOVE to travel. There's no place in this planet I wouldn't like to visit. More than seeing the places, I really like to understand and live the local people and cultures... I love to stay and converse with local people. Above all I'm in love with my own Lisbon. That's one of the reasons I host. You don't have to be my guest for me to help you in any way I can. I really enjoy helping tourists in Lisbon as much as I can, so that they go home saying that Lisbon is a great and awesome city to visit, and the Portuguese are one of the more hospitable people in the world!! : D Welcome... how can I help you? : )
