About Anna

After a long, not always fulfilling, international career as an economist, investment banker, and adjunct professor of macroeconomics and finance I am now fulfilling my girlhood dream of running my own B&B, just like my aunt Erna. What I liked about my aunt's B&B was that it was never boring as there were always interesting people to meet. In my own B&B I look forward to meeting people from all over the world, perhaps leading to lasting friendships with some of the guests. The type of guests I like best are cosmopolitan, easy-going, positive people with a sense of humor. People who don't take themselves too seriously and know how to enjoy the simple pleasures in life: sharing a laugh, taking time to relax, treasuring the beauty of nature, loving and caring for animals, enjoying a healthy meal and a good glass of wine, spending time with fellow creatures. I hope I will meet plenty of such guests and be spared from the all-important, know-it-all, complaining types. Sincerely, Anna

Anna is a very nice and friendly host who is helpful in handling traveling issues. The house is charming and Kensington is a beautiful old quarter. It is a little away from downtown D.C., however easily to be reached by car (15-20 minutes) or by bus/metro. We enjoyed our stay very much.
