I have a 1 bedroom apartment. It is fully furnished with all the bells and whistles including internet, washer, dryer, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, stove, hotpot coffeemaker, toaster, iron and ironing board, TV DVD Player and more.
There is an extra bed in the common room. It's a bed, not pull out couch or futon with a table to work or eat on and cabinet and space to put your personal effects so you can stretch out and relax. As such, the bed is the common room where at night you are given your privacy to sleep. It works out well for people who are out for the day but it is not mandatory just ideal.
Its a 5 Minute walk to Holland Spoor station in The Hague, with kitchen access, wifi and laundry facility. You have all the comforts. Its a good neighborhood, good eats and downtown nearby.
Please note, If you have a place in Paris, an exchange is possible.
The Hague is an international community. The beach is nearby. And all of Holland is accessible by train. I had a girl from China visit for one month and she found it easy to go to the main cities every single day she was here so don't fool yourself in believing that you have to be in Amsterdam to experience the Netherlands. Amsterdam is just an overpriced tourist town waiting to rip you off. The other towns in Holland are more quintessential Dutch than you will ever know.
