Joan and Michael Jaques sold their 16th century freehouse pub and restaurant in the mid nineties. After leaving the licence trade, Joan became PA to the chief executive of Pilgrims Hospices, before retiring in 2010. Not one to sit around, Joan soon decided to open our home for B&B in the second half of 2010. Michael has his own business producing videos - eaglevideo.co.uk The B&B, together with the Holiday let are now keeping us both busy. We are both proud of our little holiday venture and always travel the extra mile to make our guests feel welcome and comfortable.
