I'm a writer who travels a lot. This flat is my home base and I've decided to start letting it out when I'm away. I've stayed in so many other people's houses when I've been traveling that I like the idea of someone staying in my place while they're visiting London. There are books everywhere in my flat, and for a place in London it gets quite a lot of light. Maybe you'll like sitting in a splash of sun in the front room, reading while the sounds of the city move on by. I grew up in New York, and my neighbourhood reminds me of Brooklyn in the 1990s -- kids playing on the street and a dozen languages being spoken in the markets. It's a nice place to hide out when you want to come home from the touristy bits of London.
