I am from California, live in Germany for 30 years; wife from Austria/Germany. I worked in Academia. We live in Heidelberg, Germany. Wife's interest is to enjoy a world-class city and travel, mine too, but I have the additional interest of NY State history particularly the Colonial period, have colonial ancestry upstate (Monticello, Middletown, Catskills) to which we will travel after NYC.
