I have been in amsterdam for over 20 years coming from Canada and have been running this guesthouse for 18 of them. I try to make it as comfortable as possible for the traveller, being one myself..I see it as a home away from home.

En pocas palabras, un lugar asqueroso, olor a excremento de perro y humano por toda la casa. Dos perros viviendo y haciendo sus necesidades en la cocina, justo donde se supone que estan los alimentos. El baño inmundo, la puerta siempre abierta porque era politica de la casa que para ventilarlo la unica forma era dejar permanentemente la puerta abierta, imaginense despues de que lo usaran varias personas el olor que salia, para empeorar el baño estaba al lado de la cocina. Con mi mujer nos fuimos inmediatamente a un hotel que nos salio exactamente lo mismo que esa cueva mugrosa por la que pagamos 355 euros. Nos sentimos totalmente estafados, aun estoy reclamando a 9flats sin obtener respuesta la devolucion de nuestro dinero. No entiendo como puede esta empresa vender un producto que es insalubre desde todo punto de vista. Matias Dorfman y Mariana Atozqui Condomi

The place is very good! but the room is a bit smaller than initially expected. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a cheap, easy place to stay in Amsterdam though! The location is fantastic and the owner is super friendly and full of very good advice!

The place looked great, but it smelled really badly. The toilet could be used but you weren´t supposed to throw anything in there, otherwise it got blocked. Everywhere were flies and the place didn´t look like it got cleaned. However, it is in central Amsterdam and you can reach everything easily. All in all I can recommend the place if you stay for one or two nights. For a longer stay I would not go back there.

Allan´s house located at the hearth of Amsterdam. Very convenient location to stay. Room was very cosy and nice. Me and my really enjoyed staying there.

There room was perfectly comfortable, with a huge variety of films and tv shows available to watch at any time. I would recommend to anyone as the location is great too.

Die Unterkunft ist im engeren Sinne kein Appartement. Die Küchenecke oder Schrank beinhaltet fast kein Geschirr, Töpfe und lediglich eine Herdplatte um etwas zu kochen.
Die Toilette war defekt. Die Dusche wies Schimmel und eine bedrohlich nahe elektrische Lampe am Duschkopf auf. Das Bett war für Personen, die über 1,80 sind zu klein. Matraze und Sofa waren durchgelegen.
Die Sauberkeit des Zimmers ließ zu wünschen übrig.
Insgesamt war di Unterkunft keine 95.- € pro Nacht wert.
Drei Personen könnten dort nicht übernachten. Kühlschrank war voller Schimmel.
Die Lage ist gut.

The hosts were super friendly and very nice, helped us to find our way in Amsterdam and had always time for a chat. The are really nice people, so only because of them I can recommend their places.

Allan is an incredebly friendly hosts. He is very warm and friendly. If you want to feel at home in Amsterdam. His places are highly recommended. We have really enjoyed his hostship. Also he gives a lot of insider tips. Thanks for hosting once again. Looking forward to stay there again.
