5.0Due to circumstances entirely beyond our host's control (indeed, he tried to delay the process), the entire kitchen was ripped out during our stay. So we can't comment on the kitchen (hence 4 stars) except to say that there should be a brand new one there by now!
The room was light and airy with a lovely old maple tree out the window, and the bed very comfortable. The TV has a built-in DVD player, so you may want to bring along a movie for a lazy/early night.
The bathroom was large and extremely clean with a great shower head (important to me!) and a tub, and plenty of large, clean towels.
The trip from the airport to the apartment can be a bit confusing (make sure you are going in the right direction, which we didn't do), but once you've done it and mastered the train schedule, you can be in the center of the city in 5 minutes and catch all the streetcars from there. It just takes a little practice (but this is Zürich; not the flat!).
We would happily stay there again!

The neighbourhood is also very pleasant and quiet, very close to public transport and about 15 min by S-bahn from the city center. It is very convenient also for exploring the city. There is a Church and a supermarket nearby, but the days I stayed I was offered to share the evening meal with Barbara's family. So overall it was like staying at a good friend's place. Couldn't have been a better experience. I wish all the best to Barabara and her family and am sure that we will keep in touch. These is still a dinner invitation to accommodate when I get my first paycheck!

The apartment is in a very good location, only 2 stops from the city center. The room is big and airy, and the place is clean. The only misleading information about the place, which might come from a translation issue is, that it should not say 'entire place' - this means you will have the whole apartment to yourself, however you do share it with the host.

Mr Hartmut is a GREAT host.. He prepared the flat in a few minutes for us.. And the flat was wonderful.. We are so glad to stay there..
Our problem was, we booked for 2 nights, but because of an urgent meeting in Amsterdam, we stayed only 1 night. It is a pity (((Mr Hartmut.. I am so sorry we left the flat without informing you.. But we had a very important call, so we flied very fast. Sorry..
