The Location
Via dell’Orso is one of the most attractive streets of Rome’s historical center due to the annual antique exhibition. It lies within one of Rome’s most fashionable and elegant districts. It is moreover very close to some of the city’s most impressive attractions.

The Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, and Piazza del Popolo are all easily reachable on foot. The Trevi Fountain is beautiful at day, however even more atmospheric at night. This is partly because the huge crowds will have thinned out considerably, but also because the fountain is lit up with magical illuminations that create a truly unique and unforgettable view of the majestic structure and its waters.

In addition to this, a single metro ride will take you just a block away from the Vatican City. Taking the metro the other way will take you to the central station, Termini.

From the latter, you can change metros in order to arrive at the Colosseum. Staying on board for just one stop more you can also get to the Circo Massimo. From here you can climb the Aventino Hill to get to the Giardino degli Aranci. This beautiful garden offers the shade of its lofty orange trees, as well as a stunning view over the River Tiber and Rome’s historical center.
