We really liked the place and enjoyed every minute of our stay there! The room is very small but that's all we needed and the bed is big enough for two persons. Nice bathroom, fresh towels, shampoo, etc. Perhaps the room would do with a few shelves - there are just coat hangers (in plenty). We had keys and could come and go as we pleased. You have to realize it's the main road, so there is some traffic outside but when you close the window it's just buzz (at least it was for as and we slept like logs). On the other hand, the location is unbeatable - Zone 1 and very close to bus stops taking you to the centre in 10-15 minutes! And there is the beautiful Battersea Park just 5 minutes away. Also, the Wi-Fi worked so well that we were able to watch full-length films on our tablet in the evenings. This was very important for my son :) On the whole, for a few days in London it's a perfect location.

The location was very good and the room was clean, but the bed was old and unconfortable.

We never actually met the host in person. We contacted her by phoning and texting. She is hard to get via e-mail, but she answers the phone or messages very quickly, so we could get in touch any time we wanted. When we phoned, she gave us all the information we needed in a friendly and polite manner. The room is in the place where her mother lives. This makes things easier when you arrive and leave because the lady (a very friendly and good-natured person :) is there most of the time. Actually, our host made it possible for us to check-in before the appointed hour which was very convenient, as we didn't have to carry our bags all over London waiting for the check-in time. We would like to thank her for our pleasant stay there :) Gosia from Poland

Doreen was friendly and easy to contact. We couldn't figure out how the shower worked so I texted Doreen and she replied straight away.
