A beautifully renovated 1950’s free standing house in Gardens, Cape Town City Bowl. There are 2 sizable bedrooms, with the main room boasting great views of Table Mountain, the front porch & luscious garden area.
The kitchen has French doors opening out onto an elegant Zen garden area and a reed covered entertainment patio area seating 6 people comfortably as well as modern electric barbeque facilities. The spacious open plan dining room and lounge area open out onto a bamboo cladded side alley which leads to the garage. The garage houses 1 car and off street parking for 1 car. There is 1 bathroom with bath and shower.
The house can comfortable sleep 2 adult couples - with the study as an option for an extra bed if need be.
My intention is to rent the house out to a single group of people for the month, or as much of the month as possible. I will definitely be open to negotiation on price if the house is taken for the full month.
I can organize a trusted cleaner (my domestic helper) for 1 day a week but would recommend extra help for another 2 days a week at a nominal fee. (I would suggest it).
My house is no more than 2 miles - 3 at most - to the stadium. 1mile from Long Street in the centre of town - the party street. The fan park at the Grand Parade is 1 mile away. my house is 3 miles from Camps Bay. I am conveniently situated next to Wembley Square which is 2 minutes walk and offers Wifi and internet access, Virgin Active gym, 12 hour convenience store, coffee shops and numerous restaurants. Gardens centre, the nearby shopping mall (3-5 minutes walk), has two large Supermarkets, a DVD store and a few restaurants. Although I have a laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer, there are also laundry facilities on the corner of my street.
Even though the house is so close to the city, it is very quiet and peaceful at night, with the entertainment area, the patio and back garden completely private.
I have scrutinized what is on offer on this site and have priced my house at $420 per day (including electricity and cleaner)
