The Basque Room
This lovely room is inspired by the great Basque influence in Idaho's Sun Valley. It is said that John Hailey brought the first sheep into the Wood River Valley in the late 1860's.
The Basque history is best represented in the area with the Trailing of the Sheep Festival held in October of each year. In 1997 the Wood River Valley began this proud tradition of honoring the history and heritage of sheep ranching in the region.
This comfortable room features a queen sized, pillow-top, mission style bed and dresser. It commands an excellent view of the beautiful lawn to the north and the mountains to the east.
A 20" LCD TV with cable is included, as well as a hair dryer and alarm clock This room is located on the third floor and has a private en suite bathroom with a shower.
Breakfast is prepared by Innkeepers Roni & Vincent. Our cuisine is derived from different regions of the country, such as the Deep South, the Northwest, and Southwest. The three-course gourmet breakfast begins with a fruit course, followed by a main course such as Spinach Quiche or Scrambled Eggs with Ham or Bacon, and then a dessert course, possibly Creme Brulee French Toast or Strawberry Crepes. The menu constantly rotates to give our guests something new and exciting each day. We serve either plated or buffet style, depending on the amount of guests at The Inn.
