The 2010 FIFA World Cup is upon us and more than 600,000 tickets have already been sold to people in 188 countries. It's going to be a phenomenal spectacle.
Sandton, Johannesburg is located to the north of the city and is the most upmarket suburb in the country. It is about 45 minutes to Soccer City and Loftus Versveld (Pretoria), and 20 minutes to Ellis Park. In addition, Rustenburg is about 2 hours away, Limpopo about three and Bloemfontein about four hours by car. It's basically the ideal location for anyone who wants to watch matches in and around the Johannesburg region, which will be the center of the tournament.
About the house:
The house is fully furnished with beds, bedding, tables, chairs, fully functional kitchen etc.
There are three televisions in the house all with satellite television and a broadband internet connection with computer.
There is also a very spacious garden and swimming pool as well as a lounge, fully equipped kitchen with two fridges and a dining area.
I have attached a few pictures so that you get a better idea what the house set-up is like.
The house is available for the entire duration of the World Cup (approx. 30 days). We would ideally like to rent the house out for the duration of the entire tournament but can be flexible on this.
Also included is a daily laundry and cleaning service (except weekends), an on-site gardener to assist with anything you might need or are having trouble with, a secure environment with 24 hour street patrols. Supermarkets are withing walking distance and there is space for three vehicles to be parked under cover should you have a car.
I'd also be glad to help you with any questions you might have about South Africa in relation to your stay here.
