Ideally situated 15 minutes drive to Dunedin Stadium, venue for the Rugby World Cup.
A modern, boutique one bedroom studio apartment. Located in a unique double brick 1890's building, opposite the Port Chalmers Town Hall. It was originally built as a bootmakers. From the front north facing windows the activity of cranes, container and cruise ships can be viewed. The apartment is fully self contained to accommodate one to two people overnight or for long stays. The bedroom with ensuite opens onto a private sunny courtyard and garden with views into the hills and Iona church with its clock. Cafes, pubs, supermarket, chemist, library and specialty shops are all within strolling distance. The Historic Careys Bay Hotel is a 10 minute walk with The Orokonui Ecosanctuary a 10 minute drive and Aramoana beach or Dunedin a 15 minute drive.

If you are thinking about staying anywhere near Dunedin please consider Sea Port Rest in Port Chalmers. The apartment is immaculate, cosy and brilliantly situated at the heart of the community. There is plenty to see and do, supermarkets and heaps of places to eat out. There is an excellent bus service 2 minutes from the apartment with frequent connections to Dunedin. I loved staying here and having previously spent 3 nights in Dunedin I know which I prefer. Keeley & Pete were fabulous hosts, lovely people. If you do stay make sure Pete takes you on a tour. I was staying in the area for the Rugby World Cup but my highlight of the week was the couple of hours I spent with Pete as he showed me Port Chalmers and the sorrounding area. Great fun and fascinating. will remember my trip forever.

Lovely location, lots of character and nicely redone.
Make sure you take food and supplies with you a 10plus minute drive to nearest shops and they don't open late.
accommodation was clean, functional for my overnight stay.
