We invite you to use your leisure moments enjoying convivial company or blissful solitude in living areas filled with books, original art and warm comfortable surroundings.
All rooms reflect our enjoyment of texture and colour. Our Moroccan room has a queen bed, a separate bathroom with doors onto a terrace in the garden where you can enjoy the peaceful surroundings.
Enjoy intimate views of the garden from every window. Sumptuous bedrooms have beds covered in exquisite home made quilts of rich velvet.
Delicious breakfasts are served indoors or outside and we specialise in home made, locally grown and organic fare. Other meals are provided by arrangement.
The garden, like the house itself, flows from room to room where you can move through a mature oak forest, tennis lawn, lavender walk and onto a young olive grove affording views of the Kakanui mountains.
Walk amongst the local farms and you can see a rich tapestry - fields of sunflowers and cereals or sheep and dairy herds. Nearby outcrops of limestone give rise to the name of Whitestone country and the famous Oamaru stone building materials.
