"This charming, cozy 20m² one-bedroom apartment is wonderfully located in the heart of the 5th district (the most central district of the city). You will be 2 minutes away by foot from the famous St. Stephen's Basilika and Andrássy avenue (the Hungarian "Champs Elysées”), the Danube and the Chain Bridge are 3 blocks away, the famous Vörösmarty Square (where the Christmas market takes place) is across the adjacent Nádor Square, and the Buda Castle is a 10 minute walk. This is the best central location you could possibly get in Budapest. The apartment faces the stately Nádor Square and provides lots of sunlight, which is unusual in Budapest since most windows are adjacent to neighboring buildings. Dorottya Apartment 5 is also in this building.
Note: This apartment has a shared entrance hallway with another apartment. The private bathroom (only for your use) opens from this hallway. "
The building is a rustic Art Nouveau residential house, typical of downtown Budapest with an interior courtyard and hanging corridors. The neighborhood is safe with foot traffic, strong security, locked gates after 10pm, and a coded entry door.
Helpful and cheerful hosts who are eager to help regarding anything.
"The neighborhood is trendy and lively, crowded with bars, cafés, shops, supermarkets, and public gardens. The area is rich with Budapest’s newest and most modern restaurants, with cuisines ranging from Hungarian, Italian, French, burgers, burritos - the best of everything. There is a large supermarket 1 block away. The Váci street, the main fashion shopping street in Budapest, with souvenir stores and breath-taking architecture is a few minutes away. You can see the "Budapest Eye" ferris wheel from the window right in the summertime. Public transportation (subway, trams, and buses) leave directly from the square (Déak Tér stop), and there are bicycle rental stations nearby. Guided tours leave from every nearby square. The airport shuttle arrives/departs straight from the square as well. The Zrínyi street (the next parallel street) is host to several nightclubs and bars, including Kraft, Ötkert, Nomuri, and Divino. We will give you suggestions of the best places to make the most of your stay, whether you want to eat, drink, have a coffee, or party!
Have a look at the guide on this page, it references the main attractions in the city center around the apartment."

George wasn´t in town, so we didn´t actually meet; but his employee was very kind and helpful, and the communication with George beforehand was easy enough.
