This is a lovely place for two guests in the middle of Budapest downtown. In 100 meters you can find several restaurants, cafés, shops. The famous Vaci walking street and sightseeing boats are also nearby. Europe's most beautiful tram line (line 2) (by National Geographic) is only 50 meters from the apartment, and in just 350 meters you can enter the Great Market Hall, which is NO 1. in Europe by CNN.
By 10 minutes of walking 2 famous thermal spas can be found: Gellert Bath & Rudas Bath.
If you plan to stay for a few days in Budapest, this is the perfect location to view most of touristic attractions on foot.
If you choose me, I will help you to find the "must see" places.

The main reason I chose this apt was 'cuz I wanted to do my daily runs along the Danube. It was the perfect place for what I wanted. It's rt in the middle of the city. Great Greek and Italian Restaurants rt on the corner. Close to everything. If you are a walker, easy to get to everything you'll need and so close to Vaci Utca. About the place - if you do not like steep stairs or have difficulties...not the best place for you. Bedroom and small office area is upstairs with plenty of room to unpack and feel at home. Downstairs you find the quaint ktchn and LR area. OH the BR is downstairs- far back is the W/ no D(hang dry everything) and is a bit difficult to get to. Bathtub with spray nozzle though there is no curtain for you to stand and take a shower. (Great water pressure though). Though I didn't cook like I thought I was going to...everything was there for you. Fridge (w/freezer), stove/oven, microwave, kettle. Worth the money. (You can write me if you have any qstns).

Gabor was a perfect host. He offered to pick me up and drop me off (with a charge for both) instead of taking a taxi or train. It was nice to know that my ride was there waiting for me. He was a pleasant man. As we got to the apartment he took me on a tour of the place and then walked around the area with me to show me a couple of his favorite places and the local gourmet grocery store. He made sure I did not need for anything.
