This brightly lit, friendly 35 m² one-bedroom apartment is located in the heart of the 5th district (the most central district of the city). You will be 2 minutes away by foot from the famous St. Stephen's Basilika and Andrássy avenue (the Hungarian "Champs Elysées”), the Danube and the Chain Bridge are 3 blocks away, the famous Vörösmarty Square (where the Christmas market takes place) is 5 minutes away, and the Buda Castle is a 10 minute walk. The apartment faces the street and provides lots of sunlight, which is unusual in Budapest since most windows are adjacent to neighboring buildings.
The building is a renovated Art Nouveau residential house, typical of downtown Budapest with an interior courtyard and hanging corridors. The neighborhood is safe with foot traffic, strong security, locked gates after 10pm, and a coded entry door. Nádor Street is quiet despite its central location, giving you an opportunity to relax after a busy day of sightseeing.
"The neighbourhood is trendy and lively, crowded with bars, cafés, shops, supermarkets, and public gardens. There is a Hungarian eatary across the street from the entrance. The area is rich with Budapest’s newest and most modern restaurants, with cuisines ranging from Hungarian, Italian, French, burgers, burritos - the best of everything. There are supermarkets within 2 blocks in each direction. The Váci street, the main fashion shopping street in Budapest, with souvenir stores and breath-taking architecture is a few minutes away. The "Budapest Eye" ferris wheel stands right in the Erzsébet Square in the summertime. Public transportation (subway, trams, and buses) leave directly from the square (Déak Tér stop), and there are bicycle rental stations nearby. Guided tours leave from every nearby square. The airport shuttle arrives/departs straight from the square as well. The Zrínyi street (which crosses Nádor Street) is host to several nightclubs and bars, including Kraft, Ötkert, Nomuri, and Divino. We will give you suggestions of the best places to make the most of your stay, whether you want to eat, drink, have a coffee, or party!
Have a look at the guide on this page, it references the main attractions in the city center around the apartment."

The appartment was perfectly located in the city, close to the Basilika, the Donau and the Chain Bridge. Beds were clean. It can be loud at night since there are a couple of clubs around the corner.

Flat was tidy and contained everything that we needed. Perfect Location in the City Centre. Host was very friendly and gave us useful recommendations for our trip, where to eat and where to go out in the evening. Highly recommended!!

George wasn´t in town, so we didn´t actually meet; but his employee was very kind and helpful, and the communication with George beforehand was easy enough.
