2 Oak Cottage is situated in an area of outstanding natural beauty in the pretty village of Ravenstonedale, at the foot of the Howgills in the Yorkshire Dales National Park close the the beautiful Lake District. A stonebuilt village cottage with 1 double bedroom with adjoining ensuite shower/wc. All linen, towels and utilities are included.
The cottage has been refurbished to retain original features with beams and fireplaces and equipped with some modern appliances.. The lounge has an open fire, there is free internet (wifi) but no TV. The fully fitted kitchen as an electric cooker, microwave, fridge, dishwasher. Upstairs the bedroom has a double bed. There is a patio table and chairs outside and access to a shared garden area. The is off road parking at the rear for one car and free on street parking at the front.
Please note: 18th century cottage with features like steps, narrow doorways, restricted headroom and small shower wc room that people will need to take care with as they might cause access or mobility issues. The central heating is electric and comes on morning and evening.
Dog welcome on condition that they are not allowed upstairs, on the furniture, and especially the beds, nor left unattended in the accommodation. Owners must bring a dog bed for their pet. A charge of £15 per week or part week will be made. No other pets can be accepted.
