Charming apartment located in a building of the seventeenth century in a classified historic monument in the 1st arrondissement of Paris. It is near the Louvre, 2 steps away from the Rue de Rivoli, the Seine river and Rue Saint Honore. This apartment is located on the 3rd floor (with small elevator from the first floor), the windows overlook an interior courtyard, thus it is very quiet. You enter directly into the main room, equipped with a double sofa bed, a dining table and high speed internet. There is a fully equipped kitchen, a bathroom with shower and sink, hairdryer and separate toilet. On the other side, the living room leads to the bedroom, comfortable and spacious, equipped with a queen size bed, a TV, a desk and a nice walk in closet which will allow you to store all your belongings. A double air mattress is at your disposal for two additional people.
The rue des Bourdonnais is located in the 1st arrondissement of Paris. You will be next to the Louvre Museum and the Tuileries Gardens, 2 steps away from the Rue de Rivoli, the Seine river and Rue Saint Honore. This is a busy shopping area with lots of stores on rue de Rivoli. There is a small Italian restaurant on the other side of the street, as well as a supermarket, a bakery and a vegetarian restaurant.
The Louvre-Palais-Royal extends over the entire 1st arrondissement, as well as the 2nd arrondissement. Located here: the Louvre, which is one of the largest European palaces and is now home to one of the world’s largest art museums. Also to be seen, the glass and metal pyramid by architect I.M. Pei, which faces the carrousel. Behind the carrousel garden, Catherine de Médicis build the Tuileries gardens. This garden is home to the Orangerie and Jeu de Paume museums. In front of the Louvre, on the other side of the rue de Rivoli, is the Palais Royal, where you can find Buren’s columns in its garden. It is a neighborhood to be discovered on foot, and you should also walk up the rue Saint-Honoré, the street for fashion. Turn right, and discover the jewelers on the Place Vendôme. A bit more hidden as well is the Place du Marché Saint-Honoré. Here you will find many designer boutiques, as well as charming little restaurants. You should also visit the Galerie Vivienne, a lovely covered passageway, not far from the former Bibliothèque Nationale. It is a luxurious neighborhood that is ideal for shopping. It is centrally-located and connected by buses and metros.
The security deposit for the rental of the apartment is € 400.
