This typically Parisian apartment of 55m2, in a historical monument building of the 18th century, near the Pompidou Centre has 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 2 separate toilets and a living room with an open kitchen. It is located at 3rd floor and overlooks a courtyard.
It was completely renovated by an interior designer in March 2014. It has all the charms of Parisian life: stone in the living room, natural light wood beams in bedrooms, while the ground is white oak. A beautiful blend of modern and old.
The living room has a sofa that can serve as extra bed, with a large flat screen TV, Internet wifi and a fully equipped open kitchen.
You access to the rooms by a small corridor. Both rooms have a double bed, a wardrobe and a TV. One of the bedrooms has its own bathroom suite with walk-in shower and vanity unit. The second bathroom has a bath and sink. A separate toilet is located next room, the other is next to the living room.
Perfect for families or couples. Apartment ideally located in the very center of Paris, 1 minute walk from the Pompidou Centre or Beaubourg museum, and 2 minutes walk from the heart of the Marais.
The neighborhood referred to as the Marais is located in the 4th arrondissement as well as in the southern 3rd arrondissement. It is the historic heart of Paris. It begins to the east of the Place de la Bastille and is bordered by the boulevard Beaumarchais, the rue Beaubourg and the rue de Bretagne. The Place des Vosges dates to the 17th century, built on an almost square plan, and it is home to a garden in the middle, and many art galeries and restaurants surround it. To visit the Marais, you should walk around and get lost in its little streets, arrive at the St-Paul metro station, cross the rue de Rivoli, admire the many mansions along the Seine, and stop at the Hôtel de Sense, now the Forney library, which you can visit. There is also the Hôtel de Ville, Paris' city hall. It is a cultural neighborhood: Picasso museum, Carnavalet museum (about the history of Paris across Art), Museum of the Art and History of Judaism. Very lively in the evening as well, it is known as a gay neighborhood and many bars and clubs are open until late in the night. Behind the rue de Rivoli is also the rue des Rosiers and the Jewish quarter. You can find the best falafel in Paris here. It is a pleasant neighborhood any time of day, and because of its small streets it is cool in summer. It is also a great area for shopping, fashion, and design, the Marais is a trendy neighborhood. Very well-served by buses and metros, ten minutes on foot from Châtelet and Bastille.
