Built around 1810 and renovated in 1991, Palazzo Trinacria is located is the wonderful area of Foro Italico in Palermo city centre. A true architectural beauty, it is described in Tomasi di Lampedusa’s novel “Il Gattopardo”.
The flat includes a large living room with a sofa-bed and a dining table, one bedroom with double-bed, a mezzanine with a queen-size bed (can accomodate two persons), a terrace with a table to eat meals in the open air, one bathroom, a kitchen and a storage room with washing machine. Tastefully furnished, quite and silent. Located within walking distance from many areas of interest of the city, it represents an ideal starting point for city walking in the city centre.
I will be there for check-in and available for giving advice and indications. I am also reachable on the phone.
Please avoid being loud during night hours and respect basic rules of politeness.

The Foro Italico, or promenade of the Marina, is a vast green area, part of Palermo’s seafront. It goes from the Cala (old city port, today a dock for private boats) to Villa Giulia, in the Kalsa neighbourhood. There are many cultural sites within walking distance: San Francesco church, La Magione church, the Spasimo, villa Giulia, the botanical gardens, the Gancia, the Cattive walk, to mention a few. With a short walk you will be able to reach also the famous Vucciria market and the “Quattro Canti”. Piazza Marina, located in the immediate surroundings, provides a wide choice of restaurants, offering both Sicilian and international cuisine. Just off the building, the famous artisanal gelateria Ilardo. Also, there are many pubs and nice clubs to spend the evening.
Thanks to the convenient location, most of Palermo city center is reachable on foot. In any case, a bus stop is just in front of the building, and taxis are easily found.
