This historical Istanbul apartment is located near Galata Tower (approximetely 1 minute by walk) It was recently renovated and has an stunning sea view from its windows and rooftop terrace. Location is the best possible position for sightseeing.
★★★ Our Galata apartment's building is one of the listed monuments of Istanbul located on Yüksekkaldirim street (in the middle of Istiklal Avenue and Karakoy Port- just behind Galata Tower).
During renovation of interior decor, its original 150-years-old Byzantine (and Semi-Ottoman) architecture has been protected in its original style.
The doors, marble and floor wood are apartment's prior/oldest material which have been renewed by a loyal way to original shapes and dimensions like other parts.
The flat has very high ceiling only can be found in that kind of a few monument buildings. That is why it is very spacious and has a relaxed atmosphere.
The beds, wardrobes, commodes, lamps, curtains and other furnitures are selected particularly to be suitable with flat's original antique character.
In apartment we always tried to use minimum syntetic materials to ensure a natural and healthy ambience.
★ ★ ★ It has a little balcony in junior double bedroom which has an amazing view of Marmara Sea and The Old City. The living room also has same view and it lets to enjoy historical skyline, Marmara sea and Maiden's Tower views from its windows.
The lighting of apartment includes many options to provide a peaceful ambience. There are many kind of lamps in the rooms to be chosen depending to guests' preference.

Interaction with Guests
We offer our guests to discover Istanbul not as a tourist but as a local. So we try our best to be able to help them to see also less known interesting places except popular ones. That kind of tourism offers to experience real life of a city and that's exactly our goal.
The neighborhood is called Galata (Pera) and it has a historical background from Byzantine to Ottomans.
It is one of the safest neighborhoods of Istanbul and touristic attractions' center with many monuments includes.
The area came to be the base of European merchants, particularly from Genoa and Venice, in what was then known as Pera. Following the Fourth Crusade in 1204, and during the Latin Empire of Constantinople (1204), the Venetians were more prominent in Pera. The Dominican Church of St. Paul (1233), today known as the Arap Camii, is from this period. In 1273, Pera was given to the Republic of Genoa by the Byzantine Emperor Michael VIII Palaeologus in return for Genoa's support of the Empire after the Fourth Crusade and the sacking of Constantinople in 1204. Pera became a flourishing trade colony, ruled by a Podestà. The Genoese Palace (Palazzo del Comune) was built in 1314 by Montano de Marinis, the Podestà of Galata (Pera), and still remains today in ruins, near the Bankalar Caddesi (Banks Street) in Karaköy, along with its adjacent buildings and numerous Genoese houses from the early 1300s. In 1348 the Genoese built the famous Galata Tower, one of the most prominent landmarks of Istanbul. Pera (Galata) remained under Genoese control until May 29, 1453, when it was conquered by the Ottomans along with the rest of the city, after the Siege of Constantinople.
All only few minutes away by walk
