The room is part of in a timber-framed house settlement in Wuppertal-Barmen. The quiet location close to town and an adjacent forest (about two minutes walk away) is ideal for travelers who do not want to stay in the center, however prefer easy access to the public transport network and also need to relax from time to time.
The room offered is approximately 7m ² in size and equipped with a sofa bed. In addition, there is a small wardrobe, a large mirror and a bedside table in the room.
The furnishings of the apartment (2nd floor) are tastefully adapted to the old timber-framed house. The shared use of all kitchen appliances, dishes and the refrigerator is of course permitted. There is a Wi-FI accses, as well as a phone for landline calls inside of Germany available. Towels, bed linen and the energy and water costs are included in the price as well.
The connection to the public transport network and the motorway (Autobahn 46) is very good. Both can be reached within one to two minutes on foot or by car.
The proximity to nearby towns (eg. Dusseldorf, Cologne, Essen, Dortmund) makes Wuppertal a central base in this region.
Area you can use:
Overall, you can freely move in an approximately 50m ² area on the 2nd flor of a 220m ² timber-framed house, which is inhabited by two parties.
Apart from the actual bedroom a shared shower and toilet is available which, like the rest of the entire second floor will be shared with two other people .. Similarly, one uses the kitchen with open dining and living areas together.
The two other persons with whom the greater part of the 2nd floor will be shared are us, the owners of the house. We are a couple in their late twenties, who returned in 2011 from a year-long world tour. The positive experiences in our travels with people from around the world have lead us to offering our room on this platform to continue to meet interesting people.
