The Caramel studio can accommodate 2 people and proposes all the comfort you could possibly need for a successful stay in Brussels.
It is furnished with care and precision. The decoration is contemporary, whilst still maintaining its historical roots with the vintage floor. The living space is composed of a living corner with a television and a dining area with a table and kitchenette. When going to sleep, all you need to do is open the big wardrobe hid behind the Sofa, which contains a very comfortable pop-out bed. The little bathroom has a shower. And as if that wasn’t enough- you get full access to the utility room on the 1st floor.
If you’re travelling in a group or with 2 couples, note that the Praline Studio is on the 1st floor and the Chocolate Duplex is on the 4th floor.
The Studio is on the 2nd floor of a typical 1900’s house, which has a magnificent spiral stair-case (not recommended for young children).
The name “Caramel” was not chosen by chance, since the studio enjoys the fragrant smells of « L’âme du chocolat » from the ground floor- you absolutely must try the homemade truffles!
Staying here, you will live an unforgettable experience of life in Brussels because it is at the crossroads of some of the most famous cultural and tourist sites that the capital of Europe (with its “trendy” population who are proud of its heritage) has to offer. It would be difficult to cite one specific must-see place as the area around this pedestrian street is full of them: museums, cinemas, theaters, concerts, restaurants, casinos, antique shops, boutiques … In addition, everything is within walking distance! However, we would recommend the unmissable: the King’s Gallery, Place de la Bourse, the Theatre de la Monnaie, Dansaertstraat (famous for its designer shops). For convenience, two bakeries and two small supermarkets are less than 50m away. Note that the entrance to the building is located through the courtyard of the old typical Brussels café “A la Bécasse’’. Do not wait until the last day to try it!
If you are coming by car, you should note that the street is pedestrianized and closed to traffic between 11am and 4:00 am (outside these hours, only deliveries are allowed). The nearest paying car parks are Parking 58, Parking de l’Ecuyer, Parking Mint.
By bus or tram? There is a stop 5 minutes’ walk away where different lines join lots of points of correspondence.
By train? The nearest station is Central Station, 15 minutes’ walk away (or 3 tram stops)
By bike? You can rent “Villos” (bikes offered by the City of Brussels) and there are many collection points.
The owner will be at the apartment to welcome you and give you the keys. She will be more than happy to share her tips about the area with you!
See you soon !
