Step into a bygone era in this cosy and comfortable restored barn, set in the typical French village of Sauviat in the picturesque Puy-de-Dome department. Just 6km from the magnificent Livradois-Forez Regional Park and its wonderful flora and fauna, and less than 10km from the famous medieval village of Thiers, the house offers the perfect base for exploring the Auvergne region.

Be charmed by the house’s rustic, stone exterior and its colourful garden, and enter into a cosy cocoon featuring central heating, an indoor fireplace and modern conveniences such as a washing machine. The kitchenette is equipped with everything from a stove to a coffee machine and even a dishwasher, and there is a dining table that seats 10, with the possibility of adding more tables if needed.

Head upstairs for the large sleeping quarters, which features a double bed in an alcove separated by curtains and four comfortable double sofa beds. The mezzanine, accessible by a removable ladder, is perfect for children and hosts two double mattresses. The upstairs bathroom is fitted with a shower, sink and toilet, while there is also a separate WC on the ground floor.

End cleaning, linen and towels are all included in the rental price.
