Welcome to this beautiful, quiet, historical diplomat district of Budapest, near city center, with full of secessionist villas.
This quiet,friendly, light, freshly renovated apartment is on the 3rd floor of an old traditional building.
You can find easily and near everything You need as a tourist: 5 minutes walk from the so called "Budapest Boulevard" Andrássy út (street) with the Millennium Underground M1 metro line which is one of the World Heritages.
10 minutes walk (1 metro stop) from the Hero's Square, Museum of Fine Art, Műcsarnok (Kunsthalle). Further 5 minutes walk (one more metro stop) is Városliget (one of the biggest parks of Budapest) with the boat lake, which is a skating rink during winter time, the Zoo, the Budapest Entertainment Park, the Capital Grandcircus, the Vajdahunyad Vára (a beautiful castle with the Agricultural Museum) and Budapest's largest hot spring bath, the Széchenyi Fürdő.
Taking the metro line toward the other direction, You will arrive at the Opera within 10 minutes, and at the city center of Budapest within 15 minutes.
Still, walking along Andrássy út, is also a nice touristic program, You will reach the Opera within 20 minutes, and the city center within 30 minutes.
Walking 15 minutes to the West, You will find one of the largest shopping malls of Budapest, the WestEnd, which is right beside the Western Railway Station (called Nyugati). Also, trolley bus goes there from the place, which is only 5 minutes travel.
