First floor traditional Victorian flat, circa 1900. The flat comprises of 1 large living room, 1 large dinning kitchen, 2 double size bedrooms, 1 bathroom and a hall. Very flexible sleeping arrangements.

The living room is full of Victorian features, decorative cornice ceiling, original slate fireplace. aged wooden floors. Home entertainment - television with lots of channels, high speed internet connection, radio/c.d player. The two big sofas are very comfortable to relax on.The white sofa converts to a double bed, 150 x 200cm.

The kitchen is fully equipped. Top-end appliances - Siemens 5 ring gas hob, electric oven and extractor canopy. Retro Smeg fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and a microwave. Dinning table for 6 people. A very comfortable space.

Master bedroom, located to the front of the building,king size bed - 200 x 200cm, a large double wardrobe, two bedside tables. It is a very quiet room.

Second bedroom, has a queen size bed 150 x 200cm, which can be split into two single beds 75 x 200cm. A double wardrobe and a chest of drawers/dressing table.

Bathroom, bathtub, stand-in shower. toilet, basin.

You will find this flat a great base to explore from. On your doorstep there are lots of cafes/supermarkets/bars/restaurants and niche shops. Kelvinbridge underground is 1 minute walk and the bus stop is a few yards. Within a 5-10 minutes walk you can reach Glasgow University, Kelvingrove park, Glasgow Huntarian museum, Zoology museum,Glasgow Art Galleries,the Botanic Gardens, Charring Cross, and many more.

In less than a 15 minute walk you can reach Byres Road/Ashton Lane, Glasgow Art School, Glasgow City Centre - train stations, Buchanan Street for boutique shopping,Kelvin hall International sports arena, the National pipping centre, Glasgow Film Theatre,Mackintosh Willow tea rooms, or take the underground and be to any of these places in 6 - 8 minutes. Getting to the SECC and the Hydro is also very easy; taxi on your doorstep will take 5 minutes and cost about £6-8. It is safe to walk around at any time of the day or night.The huge advantage of this location is there is so much on your doorstep, it is also really easy to explore elsewhere. The city centre is 6 minutes by underground and the underground is a 1 minute walk. By underground you can visit the Mackintosh Scotland Street School, Ibrox Football Stadium, Glasgow Modern Art Gallery, George Square, St Enoch's centre,St Andrew's Cathedral, the Tall ship, the Science Centre and plenty more.

Getting around

Access to the city centre is fast and frequent with Kelvinbridge underground station 1 minutes walk from the apartment, taking 6-8 minutes into the centre. From the city centre there are trains to destinations all over Scotland and the UK. Only a few yards from the flat there are plenty of buses to take you all over the city. Glasgow Airport is a 20 minute drive away. Taxis are numerous and can be hailed easily from outside the flat, approx £6-8 to Central or Queen street station, the Hydro or the SECC. Or by foot 10 -15 minutes. Getting out of the city is fast with Loch Lomond only 30 minutes drive by car. Edinburgh is around 1 hour drive or 1 hour by underground and mainline train (great for Edinburgh Festival visitors).
