Apartment, Private room - Seveso, Italy
FREE BREAKFAST !!
Staying in my house is much better than in MIlan. You are in the country, with a lot of green and parks, and you can arrive very quickly to the very centre of the town (half an hour either by train or by car).
Go to the Expo is very convenient and quick to my house. And also go to MiCo, which is the center Milano Congressi, which hosts fairs and exhibitions of all kinds.
And you don't have the noise, the traffic, the smog, the pollution and the problem of parking places of the town.
I rent in my house, located at the 5th floor of a condominium, a double sleeping room + 2 places in single beds in another room, total 4 people.
The second room is utilized only when you are more than 2 people (groups of frends, families, 2 couples). So if you are only 2 people you will never have to share bathroom and kitchen with other guests.
The house has every comfort, air conditioning, wi-fi with private computer for guests, satellite television with big screen and audio 5+1, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave oven, baby grand piano, free parking place just under the house, 2 bikes for guests. The house provides 3 towels for each person, sheets, soap, shampoo, slippers to walk at home.
The train station of Seveso is located at 200 m from the house (2/3 minutes walking); from Seveso you can arrive in the very center of Milan in 25 minutes (Milano Cadorna station, where there are 2 lines of the metro and trams and buses that bring you everywhere; 10 min walking to Piazza del Duomo). There are 3/4 trains every hour (Trenord line).
An express freeway connects Seveso with the north side of Milan (about 20 min to Lampugnano Parking, where there is a metro station, which brings you in 10/15 min both to Expo and to center town).
To go to Expo, which is in Rho, a little bit outside Milan, you need about a half hour by car, or 20 min by car + 10 min by metro or 25 by train + 20 by metro
The Municipality of Seveso is part of the Metropolitan City of Milan. Seveso is a very quiet small town, with a very small amount of traffic; my house, in particular, is located in a dead-end street, without cars passing by.
In the neighbours of Seveso there are many parks; less than 1 km far away from the house there is an altipiano, deep in the green forest of Parco delle Groane, with a bike/walking path which arrives almost to Milan. There are 2 bikes available for guests.
Seveso is in a strategic position: 20 minutes from Milan Center and the Expo; 20 minutes from Lake Como; very close to all the other Alpine lakes: Lake Maggiore, Lake Varese, Lake Iseo, Lake Garda; half an hour from Bergamo, a gem just a few kilometers from Milan .
Hello everybody!! My name is Massimo and I'm a very friendly and hospitable person. I was born in Milan and I always lived there; I moved to Seveso a couple of years ago. I worked as a journalist, now I'm retired. I always lived by myself, so I'm very good in housekeeping, cooking and cleaning. Most of the time I'm at home, disposable for any kind of problems my guests might have, or even teach them something of the wonderful Italian language, I speak English, French and, of course, Italian.
I have traveled the world and met many people and many countries, but I am always convinced that Italy is the most beautiful country of all.
If you stay a few days and you're not only interested in the Expo, I'll be happy to show you all the beauties that Lombardy has to offer: lakes, mountains, cities of art ( Bergamo, Cremona, Mantua, Pavia) .
I speak English, French and, of course, Italian.
I would like that guests could feel and behave themselves as if they were at one's home.
And so, maximum freedom and familiarity during the stay, but also respect for the house and for the neighbours, expeciallly during the night hours.
It's possibile to use the kitchen, as long as you leave it clean.
Tea or coffee, milk, bread, butter, marmalade, honey and biscuits are always available and free.
To prepare supper it's necessary to have one's own food.
At a few minutes from the house there is a supermaket, where it's possibile to buy everything.
Alternatively, I can prepare you breakfast and/or an evening meal.
Prices to be agreed (but it will be less expensive than going to a restaurant). And i'm a very gook cook :) I can prepare typical milanese food, regional italian cuisine, mediterranean cuisine, ethnical cuisine.
As a welcome guests will be given a bottle of italian red wine and a liter carton of fruit juice.
Forgive me, but I cannot accomodate children under 8 years old.
Children under 18 must be accompanied by at least one parent.
I would ask you, when you make a reservation or send me a message with a request for information, to indicate who are the other members of the group (males/females, age, if they are friends, relatives, family members, etc.).

Massimo is our insider tip. His helpfulness help us to save nerves and time. We were the first time in Italy and wanted to visit Milan and the EXPO. We don`t speak a word of Italian. That`s why he came up with the train station and help us with the purchase of tickets. His instructions were great. We came without effort by car to a parking lot, the obvious only knows Italians. Then we drove another 10 minutes to the Metro and were happy at the EXPO.
Massimo helped us in the first purchases. Again we saved time and money. He speaks very good English. We were able to talk well.
We thanks Massimo for his support and recommend him as attentive host.
