Fresh and charming two bedroom apartment located a short 10 min walk to city centre in the trendiest area in Oslo: Grunerlökka, famous for its bars, restaurants, cafes and interesting nightlife and only 10 minute walk to city center.
Tram/bus stop located close-by (1 minut walk) which will take you to all major tourist areas and main railway station, Oslo Sentral Stasjon (4 tram stop).
Grünerløkka is dotted with small cafés, pubs and parks. The area around the built-up park Birkelunden, has been given a "historical zone" status and cannot be visibly rebuilt or modified. Grünerløkka is one of the most popular places for young people in Oslo to live. With its central location and nice atmosphere the property prices have surged and are among the highest in the country (almost as high as in the exclusive parts like Frogner and Majorstua). Grünerløkka of today is one of the most vibrant areas of the city, a place full of life both during the day and at night.

The photo posted here on this website is a general picture of the living room, but not the room itself where I was staying. I'm not sure why there aren't any photos of the exact place, so people may know what they are renting. The room itself is small with one closet, a night stand, and a bed. No access to the kitchen which might be a problem if you would like to make tea or coffee or prepare a sandwich. No glasses or kettle provided either. The apartment itself is clean and nice, but you should ask for the photos of the room if you want to know where you really will be staying.

You'll get your own room in a fantastic apartment. Just a walk to the centre (tram around the corner), and next street is where all the bars and restaurants are.

This Place is great located. Easy to reach with the tram, close to the Centre, the Host is very nice, the Appartement beautiful and clean. However you are only allowed to use your bedroom and the bathroom, means if you look for a private accommodation because you like to prepare your breakfast or maybe bring food to eat at home instand of a restaurant this is the wrong choice. Your room has only a bed, which is good and a cabinet, but no chair nor table. We passend very nice days in Oslo, but this was not due to the accommodation. Oslo is worth to visit.

I can't tell I know the host because I met her the last day before my departure. However, I met two other people: first one let me into the apartment and introduced herself as the owner of the place, but then left. The second person, apparently a host's roommate, appeared two days later but had no idea that I was renting a room there. I had no idea that there were more people living there except for the host.
The host was very helpful before my arrival in giving me directions on how to get to her place, but generally it felt weired not knowing who or how many people live in this place.

Expect the host to be the best part of the stay. She's very friendly and helpful, uncomplicated and fun to talk with.
