About the flat: 1 bedrooms, one common area, kitchen, bathroom. Fully furnished. natural gas heating.
My apartment is located very central in Taksim/Beyoglu, less than 10 minutes by walking to the middle of Istiklal street ..
KITCHEN & BATHROOM
In the kitchen you can find more than enough plates, forks, spoons, knives, pots and cooking equipment and stove, refrigerator, freezer, washing machine, kettle, special Turkish olive oil and vinegar,
There is 24/7 hot water. You can find soap, liquid soap, dish washing liquid, and washing machine detergents, large and high quality towels for body, , hairdryer, toilet paper, dish towel and some other necessary stuff in the flat.
And ofcourse when you arrive i will give you the information about the city and culture.. you can reach all Historical places from my place like Ayasofya, Blue Mosque, Big Bazaar..v.b. and all central places like Sultanahmet, Eminonu, Karakoy, Mecidiyekoy, Sisli, Besiktas..v.b. less than 20 minutes. I mean, you can go whereever you want, very easily and in a short time

My only request to the host, prior to booking the flat was: "My only concern is whether the street/building is in a noisy area. Thank you for your clarifications." He failed to tell me about the conditions I mentioned in my review. Also, at the time there was no photo with the terrace visible from the apartment's window, as it is now. Otherwise, Faruk was friendly, he was there to give us the keys right in time, and he tried to help about a ring my wife misplaced in the apartment, without success, though. I can understand that what is noisy for some isn't for others, but I was clear about my request and my concerns. Also, I did not complain in the first 2 days, hoping that the noise and the music were accidental, not a permanent issue. When I finally did complain, Faruk said there's nothing to be done and the customer service of 9flats dutifully informed me that I should have complained in the first 24 hours after my arrival, so my complaint, 3 days after it is no longer their concern.

I haven't had the opportunity to meet personally Faruk.
We've kept in touch through e-mail and mobile.
Faruk has always responded promptly to my messages and proved an attentive and polite person!
