The apartment is in the oldest part of Belgrade, near the Kalemegdan fortress and about 10 minutes walking distance from the center of the city. All most famous sites and places like the bohemian street called Skadarlija and Strahinjića Bana street (famous for its cafes and night life) are nearby.
For those who want to use public transport there are bus and tram stops 100 meters from the apartment (tram No 2 goes around the center and can be used as a tourist sightseeing vehicle, it also takes you to the railway and bus stations). It can be crowded though. I provide guests with "busplus" cards for the public transport and they just have to prepay for the rides at a nearby kiosk or a shop.
The Danub is also close to the apartment, and there are also restaurants and cafes along its bank, as well as the sports center and the swimming pool.
There are a lot of shops and bakeries nearby, some of them are open 24 hours a day, and the open market for fresh fruits and vegetables and dairy products is also few blocks away.
The apartment itself is on the second floor of an old well maintained building with the features from the period, there is no elevator, but it is not difficult to reach it. It faces north and looks at the inner yard.
The flat was used for living, not for renting, and there are a lot of things and details in it which make it look more like a home, it is well equipped, the guest has to bring his or her personal things and clothes, the rest is already there.
