Let's the guests speak first.... here is my most recent review by Suzanne Rooney from Washington DC, they stayed at my place the whole month of October 2015:
Splendid October in Fiesole
★ ★ ★ ★ ★
We spent the month of October in this lovely and comfortable flat in Fiesole. The apartment has everything one needs including an especially comfortable bed, good reading lights, a nicely equipped kitchen, and a pleasant living room. The washer and dryer are also very welcome amenities. It is well located with a place next door to get your cappuccino in the morning and enjoy their terrace in nice weather! We used public transportation with no problems and found everything about this charming flat very accommodating, including the owner who was there to welcome us when we arrived.

The house is located in Fiesole, a small town that overlooks Florence. Fiesole is an Etruscan–Roman archeological area at about 5 miles northeast of Florence. It is located on a hilltop offering a very scenic and gorgeous view of Florence as well as being only a 20 minutes bus ride from Florence's center.
The house is 700 meters from the main piazza of Fiesole, the lovely “Piazza Mino da Fiesole” where the number 7 bus will easily connect you to the center of Florence.
The home fits comfortably 4 people, is about 50mq (circa 540 square feet), consisting of: 1 very quiet nice size master bedroom facing the hills, with a queen size bed equipped with a very high quality ergonomic memory foam mattress 1 brand-new spacious bathroom with shower, 1 living/dining room with a comfy sofa-bed plus a fully equipped kitchenette, 1 utility/laundry room with washer and dryer.
Dryers are not very common in Italy. Most people still dry their laundry outside, so we are happy to be able to provide you with one. The home is furnished with extreme care. The furnishings are mostly real antiques, giving the home the characteristic old Tuscan charm. The house has been totally remodeled in September 2014 therefore all the appliances etc. are brand-new. The home has no stairs, besides only three steps at the entrance, making it very accessible. In front of the house there is a charming, very tiny piazza called Borgunto, with just one tree and few benches, where amidst the warm days the locals sit and chat, so cute! Unfortunately the streets here in Fiesole are very narrow, as many of the very old streets in Italy are, therefore the traffic during rush hour could be a little chaotic. Parking is not the easiest thing to do in a small old town, but we are lucky here in Fiesole as there are 2 big free parking lots not too far from the home.
Washer, dryer, dishwasher, microwave oven, wireless high-speed Internet hairdryer, iron and ironing board, linens and towels, fully equipped kitchenette.
Interaction with Guests
I live most of the year in California, therefore I will not be present at the listing. Nonetheless, a very nice, experienced and helpful friend of mine named Roberta is in charge of the home and will be taking care of you and all your needs.
The people in Fiesole are very friendly, community oriented and eager to help the tourists. They all know each other, this is a small community, and if you say hello, they will gladly answer you with a smile making you feel “at home”.
Other Things to Note
This is not a cold, impersonal rental unit, but it is also my home during few months of the year. I’d like to rent it to nice and very considerate people. Thank you.
