A total of 605sq ft in size, the apartment contains two double bedrooms. The main bedroom contains a King-size bed and has an en suite bathroom featuring a large modern style shower. The second bedroom also contains a King-size bed and the main bathroom enjoys a large (1800 x 800) bath with shower over the bath. Each bathroom also features a heated mirror pad to prevent mirrors from steaming up when showering, as well as a shaver socket.

The lounge area contains a corner unit seating 4 people. There is also a large screen television, coffee side/tables and a dining table which can seat up to 4 people. The furnishings are contemporary in style to match the stylish, modern nature of the apartment and surrounding environment.

The Lock Apartment is located on the 2nd floor of the Lock Warehouse, a recently converted and restored former Victorian Grain Warehouse. The building has been converted to a high level of specification, reflecting the exclusive location while respecting the historic features of the building. Although modern amenities such as a lift have been installed, wonderful original features such as massive oak beams, exposed brickwork and original cast iron columns have been preserved. The building contains a unique juxtaposition of historic features and amenities for modern living.

Gloucester Docks is the perfect city break destination. There are a number of restaurants, bars and cafes nearby to choose from. These include Mexican, Italian, American, Chinese and Thai cuisine. The Gloucester Quays Designer outlet centre is a two minute walks though the Docks with a wide array of shops selling discounted designer brands including L.K Bennett, Nike, Calvin Klein Austin Reed, Hawes & Curtis, Hush Puppy, Le Crueset. and many more. There is also a newly opened 6 screen Cinema (including 3D) and a 24 hour Gym within the Quays complex. The gym can be used on a day-to-day basis for a small fee without any need for membership.

Access to the common areas of the Lock Warehouse is via a key or code, assuring security. The building also has a video entry system for entry by visitors. There is allocated parking at a secure area a short walk from the building which is for the exclusive use of the Lock Warehouse. There is also a loading bay just outside of the building where you can park for a short period in order to load and unload.

The bed sizes and bathroom arrangements are as follows :

Main bedroom : King size bed (180 x 190cm) - En suite bathroom with walk-in shower.

Second bedroom : King size bed (180 x 190cm), use of main bathroom containing bath with shower over bath

A returnable deposit of £100 is required. This will be returned after the holiday assuming everything is left in order. Please note that the property contains high quality fittings and furnishings which guests are asked to treat with respect. Guests are expected to take responsibility for the actions of any children in their party. Any damage will be deducted from the deposit or will need to be paid for prior to leaving the property.

Check in is from 4pm on the day of booking and check out is by 11am on the day of departure. Sometimes earlier check in and/or later check out can be accommodated by arrangement, but this must be agreed in advance. Our ability to agree this will depend on whether it can be worked around cleaning arrangements and arrival/departure requirements of other guests.
