Prestigious apartment very spacious, located in the historic center of Venice, in a charming old building late seventeenth century. Grand Canal Terrace has a beautiful terrace overlooking the Grand Canal and the Rialto Bridge, from which it is only fifty meters.
The amplitude of this apartment is perceptible from the entrance, where the prestigious staircase in marble, wood and wrought iron is lit from a beautiful old-style lantern.
The apartment, located on the first floor, boasts a large and charming entrance with high ceilings decorated in Venetian style; the impressive library in cherry blends perfectly with the walnut furniture and the red draped sofas (one of these is a convertible sofa bed). The lighting comes from the large windows during the day while in the night it comes from the colorful glass sconces of Murano and from a crystal chandelier placed on the beautiful walnut table in the middle of the room that blends harmoniously with the comfortable armchairs in fabric. On one side of the living room, placed under a large vaulted arch, there is the stylish fully equipped kitchen. There are two double bedrooms, both connected to the beautiful and original bathroom covered in mosaic mother of pearl pink. The bathroom is fitted with toilet, sink and a comfortable bathtub. The living room leads to the master bedroom, comfortable and spacious, which was made entirely of wood and has a beautiful view of the Grand Canal. The second bedroom has large windows, 2 comfortable single beds and old-style furniture.
The Grand Canal Terrace apartment will give you a unique stay in Venice, in a magical atmosphere enveloped by the grace of an unforgettable city.
A highlight of the apartment is the beautiful terrace from which you can admire the historic Venetian Regata; not surprisingly in the past, the apartment was the home of Venetian festivals and it was used later for the filming of the Regata, some other films and documentaries.
In this area, well-known for its important monuments, there are the Rialto Bridge and the Church of San Giacomo di Rialto (traditionally considered as the largest of Venice). It seems in fact that the church dates back to the sixth century. In this area you can’t miss the traditional Rialto market, the largest and most characteristic of the city. Do not forget the Basilica of Santa Maria Gloriosa dei Frari and the church of San Rocco.
