The apartment is surprisingly located in the middle of the quarter De Pijp. This area has often been compared with the Quarter Latin in Paris, typical for this entertainment area are the many bars and restaurants. Next to the apartment you will find the Albert Cuyp, this market is a touristic attraction which celebrated their centenary in 2005. From here it is a ten minute walk to a famous hotspot of Amsterdam: the Heineken brewery. In this former brewery you will find a museum: the Heineken Experience. Next to the brewery is the Marie Heinekenplein, a square with lots of restaurants and bars. From here it is a short walk to two terrific museums, the Rijksmuseum and the Stedelijk Museum. When visiting downtown you can either walk 15 minutes or take one of the many trams in front of the apartment.
The Albert Cuypmarkt House is a large ground floor apartment. From the hallway you will end up in the living room with open kitchen. At the street side of the living is the relaxing area located, equipped with a salon table, large flat screen TV and two very comfortable sofas, which can easily be turned into extra beds when needed. Next to this area houses the large wooden dining table. Further to the back of the apartment you will find the modern and fully equipped kitchen.
Across the kitchen is the very luxurious bathroom. It is very spacious and contains a large bathtub, a shower and a sink. Because of the space, the high ceiling and large grey tiles, this bathroom gives you the feeling of luxury. Next to the bathroom you will find the separate toilet and at the back of the apartment is a bedroom located with four single beds.
Overall, this spacious apartment is a perfect base from where you can see lots of Amsterdam. The neighborhood is very lively and contains lots of restaurants and bars. You will enjoy your trip to Amsterdam when staying here.
