Beautiful, very recently renovated, charming apartment ideally located in a quiet street in the heart of Trastevere. The Romans call this area the “real Rome” where the natives speak a dialect immortalized in the 19th century poetry of Gioachino Belli whose statue towers at the beginning of Viale Trastevere near the river. There are dozens of good restaurants, nearly all with outside tables, street markets and small shops of every description and although it’s a busy part of the city, most people seem to find time to laze over an aperitif at sundown while watching the world stroll by or linger over their after-dinner coffee while chatting nineteen to the dozen.
The apartment has a bright, elegant and comfortable living room, a fully equipped open-plan kitchen, a charmingly appointed bedroom and a lovely bathroom with shower.
There is air-conditioning, wi-fi connection, two flat-screen TVs, washing machine and dryer, independent heating, a safe, dishwasher, electric kettle and toaster, fridge, freezer, ceiling fan and hairdryer.
Just a short walk away you will find the Botanical Gardens, 20 acres with over 3,000 species of plants, Villa Farnesina, an amazing Renaissance villa that hosts Raffaello’s frescoes and, just opposite, Palazzo Corsini which is the seat of the National Gallery of Ancient Art. St. Peter’s and the Vatican Museums are on the same side of the river as Trastevere, under 10 minutes away by bus. And you just have to cross the Tiber to reach the Pantheon, Piazza Navona, Campo de’ Fiori, Piazza Farnese. Again, only a few stops on the bus to reach all the other important sights and monuments.
We'd like our guests to be informed that since the 1st of January 2011 Rome City Council is asking for an overnight accommodation tax on tourist service in the city.
The City Tax, 3.50 euros per night (max 10 nights) per person (with the exception of children up to 10 years), is not included in the total rate and has to be paid cash upon arrival.

The apartment was well located and close to nearby sights, bars and restaurants. We enjoyed our stay but didn't realise that bin collections took place just below our windows every morning around 9 am with huge noise of bottles dropping and smashing in to the lorry. Also one morning around 4.30 am we were awoken by the sound of a bin collection of general refuse immediately below - not good !!!! Apart from that we had a good time but future cccupants will probably have to endure the same noise....

Attentive and helpful. We corresponded mostly with Emiliano prior to our arrival, but then dealt with Tomasso entirely during our stay. We didn't need much and he set us up with all the info we needed when we arrived. Communication with Emiliano wasn't always super fast, but was always thorough and responsive. Would gladly stay with him in one of his properties again.

Den Gastgeber haben wir in den vier Tagen nicht kennengelernt, ein von ihm Beauftragter hat uns begrüßt und die Wohnung gezeigt.
