This is a well appointed and centrally located apartment which consists of one bedrooms with double bed, a one bathroom with shower, a small fully equipped kitchen, and a small sitting / Tv area. Wifi connection, bedlinen, towels and cleaning are free of charge. It is located in a small quiet residential street.
It is located in a very privileged spot, right beside the Kolonaki area and Hilton hotel Athens, in Pagrati area / Athinogenous street. It is within walking distance to all Athens' main sights, close to Syntagma square, the National Garden, the Acropolis and Plaka. Around this square there are lots of small local restaurants, a bakery and a supermarket, ideal for your daily needs.
Please note: This a small standard studio-apartment with basic furniture and equipment and not a 5-star hotel, not too fancy but cozy and very central next to the Metro station Evangelismos / Kolonaki. It is great for having a quiet sleep, a shower and a coffee and go out to explore the city. Nothing more or less.
Public transportation (bus/trolley/tram/metro) is really convenient in this area towards all destinations.
How to get there:
1. Take advantage of our FREE transfer from the Airport (or Port) to the apartment. In an effort to simplify you reaching the apartment you've rented we are offering this free service. Our driver will be expecting you at the airport's / port's gate with a sign with your name to take you directly to the apartment, so you don't have to worry to call us or manage a way to get there. This service is upon request at least 2 days before the arrival (for max 4 guests).
2. Easily reach from Metro station "Evangelismos". Direct access to Athens Airport at "Evangelismos" metro station .
3. X95 express-bus to Athens airport. Almost anything can be reached on foot, embassies, museums, shopping, touristic attractions e.t. By bus "express 95" to the station " Evangelismos "- the apartment is within walking distance.
Athens the Capital of Greece is one of the oldest cities in the world. Athens is a large city with approximately 5 million people. Greece is rooted in history, making it a great place to go on vacation since there is so much to learn about and explore. Spend your time in this unique city learning about the culture, trying new food, and soaking up the history.
Things to Do in Athens
Visit the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at Syntagma Square. You may even see the impressive changing of the guards. If you are interested in visiting museums, Greece has an abundance of them, including Goulandris Museum of Cycladic Art, the National Archaeological Museum, the Archaeological Museum of Olympia, and the Acropolis Museum. Another place you should put on your itinerary is the famous Acropolis of Athens.
Aside from historic sites, you should also make time on your vacation to go to some of the beaches of Athens, such as Lagonisi and Glyfada. For shopping, make sure to visit Ermou Street. If you are more interested in antiques and flea markets, make sure to go to Monastiraki.
If you are looking for fine dining and interested in trying authentic Greek dishes, try going to the restaurant called Estiatorio Milos Athens. For French Cuisine, check out the restaurant Spondi, which is a restaurant known for both its’ food and beautiful interior. Athens also has a thriving nightlife scene. Gazi is an area with several clubs and bars, such as Pixi. For a bar with a view of the Acropolis and Athens, go to 360 Degrees.
Day Trips Near Athens
There are a multitude of fun day trips that you can make from Athens. The city of Corinth is only about an hour drive from Athens. Julius Caesar had Corinth rebuilt while he ruled. The city therefore has a lot of history and features multiple historic attractions, such as the Bema platform. Another place to check out while staying in Greece is the city of Epidaurus. While spending the day in Epidaurus, make sure to visit the Temple of Asklepios and Epidaurus’ large amphitheater, which is from the 4th century B.C.
Stay in our cozy central apartment while in Athens. Athens is divided into several unique areas and we recommend choosing one based on what activities you are looking to do while on vacation. Stay in the Center if you want to be right in the heart of the central square of Athens. If you are planning to explore the nightlife scene, rent a place in Psiri. Monastiraki is an area filled with beautiful homes, shops, and historic sites.
Transportation in Athens
While in Athens, you can take the Attiko Metro, which is the Athens Metro system. The public transportation system has three lines, which are called M1, M2, and M3. M1 goes between Piraeus and Kifissia. M2 goes between Agios Antonios and Agios Dimitrios. Lastly, M3 goes between Egaleo and Doukissis Plakentias. Each station has ticket machines. You can purchase one-way tickets, day tickets, or weekly tickets.

Endroit difficile a trouver. Mais une fois trouver facile de se rendre au metro. Aussi peu faire les visites à pieds ,pas très loin. Les photos sont pkus belles que la réalité! Draps propres,pour le reste.... Je ne crois pas que j'y retpurnerais

We were asked to leave and get our money back from the people from whom we booked if possible as they are apparently bankrupt and not paying the people who manage the apartment. Whether or not this is true we felt for the people involved but could do little about it ourselves it being Christmas time. We completed our week as arranged.
