We recently booked 5 apartments at 50 Clivio delle Mura Vaticane, from June 5-9, 2014. They were not clean, with stained mattresses, bed covers, & poorly stocked. Only 5 mugs for 16 people, & no cutlery in one kitchen. There was mold in 2 of the bathrooms, & the 2 terraces were overgrown with weeds, with broken & dirty furniture. My nephew stated that there were pubic hairs on his sheets.

Pino was really helpful and a nice guy to talk to. He was also flexible in regards of our late arrival time and checkout.

He sent an e-mail, at 10 PM, the night before, stating that our apts. we're not available the 1st night due to a server problem & were already booked. We were put in 2 apts that 1st night, 6 people in 1, & 10 in the other-cramped needless to say. We paid for all 5 of the apts. for 4 nights, even though 9 of our party left 1 night early to go home. He rented out one of the apts. to a party of 5 men the night they left. They also received the same e-mail, about being overbooked the 1st night due to a server problem. He did offer to refund us the money for that night, as 2 different parties were paying for that same room. We will be asking for an adjustment for the 1st night, as the accomodation wasn't what we paid for.
