This apartment, flooded with light, is located in the heart of the city, in an historic building of Graça, one of Lisbon's most iconic and oldest neighbourhoods.
It was designed to combine architectural tradition with contemporary design. It has 1 bedroom, living room, bathroom and a fully equipped kitchen.
From the windows, the two balconies and the skylight windows you can see the sky, the rooftops and the lively and wonderful neighbourhood, full of small hidden backyards and gardens.
Graça is located on the highest of the famous seven hills of Lisbon, right next to Alfama and São Jorge's castle. It’s known for its Vilas - meaning clusters of small residential buildings - whose unique architectural features are a subject of study and curiosity all over the world.
The most legendary tram of Lisbon - number 28 - that goes through major city traditional neighbourhoods passes directly in front of the building. The stop is 30 seconds away. Less than a 5 minute walk, are two of the most famous and beautiful panoramic views of Lisbon: Senhora do Monte and Miradouro da Graça breathtaking viewpoints. In a 10 minute walk you will find 'Feira da Ladra' the most typical and genuine (flea) market of the city.
The apartment – with free WIFI internet - has comfortable and relaxing leaving room and an even more peaceful bedroom with a double bed. The kitchen is fully equipped: with a fridge, stove, oven, microwave, washing machine, coffee maker, electric water boiler, toaster and all the necessary cooking utensils. There is also a hair drier and an iron table.
Like most of the historic constructions in Lisbon, this building was projected long before elevators were invented. The apartment – a typically Portuguese mansard roof – is located on the 4th flour.
The apartment is ideally located in the Graça’s main street, within a 10 minute walking distance from the metro station of Anjos, a 20 minute walk from the main International railway station Santa Apolónia and a 15 min drive from the airport. If you have never been to Lisbon, you must bare in mind that it is full of charming but nonetheless challenging hills.
The street and the neighbourhood are full of small traditional shops, bakeries, supermarkets, pharmacies, ATMs, all sorts of restaurants and outdoor cafes, and services you may need for an unforgettable stay in one of the most beautiful and charismatic cities you will ever see.

During Christmas we spend one week in Lisbon and in Sofias apartment. We had a very warm welcome. Apartments in Portugal don't have a permanent heating. Therefore, warm clothes and shoes are needed during winter in Portugal. But Sofia also offered blankets and 2 mobile heating’s. The apartment itself was very clean and is well equipped.
Sofia is a very friendly host who likes to share her favourite places in Lisbon and surroundings with her guests and offers a long list of good restaurants. It was always easy to get in contact with her.
