Welcome to the latest room of the Alice Inn, secret townhouse extraordinaire.
It's awesome! It's tasteful! It's romantic!
The room is large, with marble floors and a high ceiling. There is a little balcony that opens onto the (quiet) street with a beautiful view of the Anglican church on Filellinon St.
It is tastefully decorated with found objects and one or two items from my personal collection.
You also get the use of the kitchen / dining room and the library / sitting room on the ground floor.
For the moment there is a fairly confortable sofabed only. The listing price more than makes up for the inconvenience :)
A few words about the neighborhood. We are in Plaka, the oldest part of Athens and one of the oldest continuously occupied neighborhoods in the world! Its all within walking distance: The metro, the ancient sites (right at the foot of the acropolis itself), the shopping district and Athens newest bars and places to eat.
I (John) am around for most of the day, and can always be contacted by email or phone in case you want some help or tips about the city.
Below is a list of all the services included in the price:
Weekly cleaning and linen service
Use of washing machine
So what are you waiting for - book now! ;)

Just as described!!!
The room is actually bigger than what it appears in the pictures.
Clean fresh, sheets, thick white towels.
Location, excellent. Located in Plaka, close to the Syntagma metro station and the Monasteraki one. Just walk a few meters and the nice spots are around you. The Akropolis just a few blocks away.
For this price and the location, this place is unbeatable.
The only observation. The bathroom is in a separate floor, but it is explained in the description. I did not mind
to have the Wc/shower outside of the room. The price and the spatious and well decorated room beats it.
I dont know if it was just me, but Athens has a smell of freshness, of clean, sometimes to citrus trees. I loved Athina. Nice and friendly people.
Felt great and welcome. Hope to go back with someone next year for about the same time. The weather was perfect, not hot nor cold.

Unfortunately John was not there, his Collegue Julia was very friendly and helpful. E-mail and mobile phone communication was perfect!
