This is a spacious private room in a unique, colorful Bernal Heights home with plenty of street parking! The home opens onto a magical, park-like garden with many terraces where guests can enjoy views of San Francisco, watch the birds, listen to the relaxing sounds of the "WaterContraptions" or just enjoy a cup of tea or glass of wine.
The spacious room has a full size bed and a twin bed.
There are two shared bathrooms available to guests, each has a shower and one has a tub. The airy kitchen is fully equipped and available for use by guests.
There is also a nice outdoor living area/chill space with a propane heater - a nice place to hang out in the evening.
The garden is also a perfect location for a wedding or a family gathering.
Bernal Heights is a lovely safe, quiet, sunny neighborhood, just south of the vibrant Latino "Mission" neighborhood.
We are steps away from Bernal Hill Park - a great place for a walk, sunset viewing, star gazing and the best 360 degree view of San Francisco.
A fifteen minute walk will take you to Cortland Street, a lovely shopping street complete with healthy grocery market, unique gift store, yoga, massage, library and art galleries. There you will find a multitude of delicious eating establishments - Japanese, Nepalese, Peruvian, Italian, Mexican, California cuisine, excellent coffee shops and bakeries.
The Alemany Farmers Market on Saturdays and the flea market on Sundays are fun excursions, just a short hike away.
The convenient MUNI 67 bus line stops right across the street and will take you to the 24th Street BART station in five minutes. BART will whisk you downtown in minutes. MUNI buses connect here to all points in the city including Golden Gate Park, Fisherman's Wharf, AT&T Park, all museums and city attractions.

Jeannie and Skate were friendly hosts. We had a warm welcome and a very clean and spacious room. I liked the bathroom which looks very individual and the garden with it's stunning view all over San Francisco. For breakfast there was not a big variety of food. Most of the time we went for a second breakfast in town. Me in person think for the money you pay Jeannie and Skate could arrange a better breakfast.
The house is located on the top of a hill with some nice restaurants around but it takes quite a while to come to the town center and the busses are really crowded.
Altogether we had a great time in San Francisco! Thank you!

P.S. They do have a great selfmade map with restaurants and shops around they recommend :)

The house is situated in a nice neighborhood with a great view over San Francisco (espacially at night). Due to the fact that we had four days of great weather in San Francisco we were able to see the Golden Gate from the really lovely garden. If you don't like cats, then you most propably will not enjoy your time, but we enjoyed company of the little tiger, that also slept in our bed for one night. Despite the fact that the house is not in a central place of San Francisco all places are reached quite fast because the bus is stopping on the other side of the street. Also parking was not a problem (we parked on the street). All in all we enjoyed our time very much.

Staying with Jeannie and Skate made my SF trip an enriching experience, two open-minded, accommodating people, who spared no effort to make me feel at home and thus enable me a pleasant stay! Moreover, they turned out to be really helpful insiders who know the city inside out and didn’t hold back with useful tips how to make best use of my limited time and get to know the city in all its magnitude! I recommend them without reservation!
