As you can see in the pictures, the building is architecturally very pretty. It was built in 1894 and was once the headquarter of the leather trade in Hungary.
There is a salsa dance school downstairs if you fancy learning some moves!
Our flat is paralell to Andrassy Avenue, with view over the former Ballet Institute and the Opera House from the balcony. You can walk to the main touristic sights, or to the best restaurants and the world-famous ruin pubs.
Budapest's number one coctail bar is in the same street. If you can come up with a cocktail the bartenders don’t know the ingredients for, the drinks are on them!
Very easy access to Heroes Square, St. Stephen’s Basilica, Szechenyi Thermal Bath, Budapest Zoo, Liszt Ferenc Concert Hall, Great Synagogue, museums and art galleries.
If you walk left, you reach Deak Square where all three metro lines meet providing speedy access to all parts of the city, both Buda and Pest.
If you walk right, you get to Liszt Ferenc Square and Octogon where tram 4 and 6 run towards Margaret Island.
