Irene was very friendly and welcoming, we had a nice chat about peculiarities of Istanbul life and she also helped us get oriented in the area.

We especially loved Irene's mother and son, they are absolutely wonderful and beautiful!

The flat is amazing. It has everything you need and it is very beautifully decorated, with brand new furniture. It is true that it can take long way to travel by bus, but if you decide to use a subway (which I preferred), it is only 2 stations from city center.
As for Cheryl, she is very kind and friendly and she will help you as much as she can.
If I ever decide to go back to Istanbul, I will go to this place again.

Cheryl was a wonderful host. She was extremely helpful and accommodated our unusual travel hours. My friend and I felt very welcome in her home. There is only one bus that reaches her house and it can take upwards of two hours to get into the city or back depending on traffic. Other than that it was a pleasant stay and we would do it again if we are ever back in Istanbul.
