Due to circumstances entirely beyond our host's control (indeed, he tried to delay the process), the entire kitchen was ripped out during our stay. So we can't comment on the kitchen (hence 4 stars) except to say that there should be a brand new one there by now!
The room was light and airy with a lovely old maple tree out the window, and the bed very comfortable. The TV has a built-in DVD player, so you may want to bring along a movie for a lazy/early night.
The bathroom was large and extremely clean with a great shower head (important to me!) and a tub, and plenty of large, clean towels.
The trip from the airport to the apartment can be a bit confusing (make sure you are going in the right direction, which we didn't do), but once you've done it and mastered the train schedule, you can be in the center of the city in 5 minutes and catch all the streetcars from there. It just takes a little practice (but this is Zürich; not the flat!).
We would happily stay there again!

The apartment is in a very good location, only 2 stops from the city center. The room is big and airy, and the place is clean. The only misleading information about the place, which might come from a translation issue is, that it should not say 'entire place' - this means you will have the whole apartment to yourself, however you do share it with the host.

Ein schönes, helles und ruhiges Zimmer, Supermärkte und ÖPNV Anbindung nur ein paar Schritte entfernt. Anbindung ins Stadtzentrum super!

We met our kind host two times and it was nice to talk with him, not only about the appartment itself but also about interesting subjects and giving us helpfull advices.

Wolfie did everything humanly possible to make our stay comfortable and to compensate for the lack of a kitchen and the noise of the construction, even getting permission from the landlord to guarantee quiet till 10:00 (instead of 08:00 – we like to sleep late). Given the circumstances, I can’t imagine anything more he could have done. He is a kind, courteous, generous, hard-working, and good-natured fellow and speaks both English and German. He respected our privacy, and offered to show us some sites and take us out for a meal or drinks (unfortunately we didn’t have the opportunity to spend more time with him, as we had already planned a full schedule of concerts and theater, museums, restaurants, etc.). Should we visit Zürich again, we know where we are going to stay!

Wolfgang was friendly, gave information about the city and offered to take me around and show some places. (I just didn't take the offer as I was too busy myself). He also respected my own space and even gave some good cooking tips (he is a cook himself).

We had such a great time! Dinner, conversation, and company was a blast and very memorable! We wished we would have had more time to spend in Zurich; we will have to go back one day! Thank you, Wolfie, for everything!
