This place was fantastic. We stayed for a week and felt like locala, falling asleep with a glass of red wine while listening to multiple "fadistas" singing and playing from the heart. The bedroom is in unique as it provides a cozy and quiet space for restful sleep, where as the balcony/living room are great for staying up and listening to the magical sounds of Alfama, and people watching.

I would recommend for the host to have an extra set of sheets for guests staying for an extended time and to provide washing machine detergent. We went out to buy washing machine detergent only to take it to the place and find out that it was for washing by hand only, then we didn't want to go back and buy the machine one, as it would be more money and we would not use a huge amount of it in the week that we were there. I am sure we could have asked Ursula for it and she would provide whatever we needed (extra sheets, etc), but we were too busy sight seeing and hanging out with friends and family in Lisbon.
