I'm from Barcelona and my mother's family is from Mallorca. I lived 4 years in Québec. Because now I can't travel as before, I have decided to host people from around the world, is another way to travel... My kids have three nationalities and we speak at home 5 languages. I founded Jiwar Creation and Society, an international artists and researchers residency about urban creativity.

The flat is excactly as described, right in the heart of Barcelona and just 2 minutes walk from Fontana metro. The neighbourhood is buzzing with people and happenings. You find everything you need just by stepping outside your door. The metro connects everything but even if you feel like walking, the city center is just 20 minutes walk. The apartment is comfortable for 4 people and the terraces are great for enjoying breakfast or coffee any time of the day.

This appartment is an oasis in the heart of the lively neighbourhood of Gràcia. This area is becoming more and more popular among tourists but the feeling is still very local. It's one of the most "arty" areas in Barcelona, full of day and night life but also family ambiance.
The appartment is fully equipped (linen, towels, kitchen appliances, washing machine) and it has a very cozy feeling to it. You can relax in one of its two (huge) terraces overlooking a garden full of trees which is quite unique in this city. It has no lift, but it's only a three-store bulding. It is very well connected to the rest of the city, it just takes a 2-minute walk to the nearest metro station and a 15 to 20 minute-trip. If you feel like walking, it only takes about 30 minutes to get to the most emblematic places in Barcelona (Park Güell, Sagrada Familia, the old city and so on) ///This review was written by an official member of the 9flats team///

Mireia is an excellent host. Right from the begining she responede promptly to all of our correspondance and she gave us valuable information to help us all along with our stay. She is very friendly and helpful.

Mireia is very friendly and lives in the same building so she'll be accessible for anything you need. She also runs an International art association so she is always surrounded by people from all over the worls and is always engaged in art events.
