Aufgrund kurzfristig notwendig gewordener Reparaturen konnte das Appartement nicht bezogen werden. Wir erhielten daher ein alternatives Appartement, welches sich im Nachhinein als ein deutliches Upgrade herausstellte.

Die Lage der Wohnung ist genial und ruhig. . Zwei Minuten (local Train) bzw. acht Minuten (express Train) bis zur Subway und in knapp 30 Min. mitten in Manhattan. Haus und Umgebung haben ein tolles Flair und man bekommt viel vom Lebensgefühl in Brooklyn mit. Mit vier Personen hat man noch Platz ohne Ende und hinter dem Haus steht noch ein Außenbereich zur Verfügung.

We felt very comfortable in the flat!! It was very close to the metro station, which was great!! In Brooklyn we felt very safe and didn´t have any problems.

Very autentic flat with good equipement (dishwasher needs repair but so what). Good connections to Manhattan. Small supermarket on the street corner and an excellent italian restaurant at short walking distance (Saraghina, 435 Halsey St)
A little bit confusing was the description as 3 bedrooms whereas it is a big one with separations.
All in all we had a very good stay and enjoyed

It was a nice oldtownhouse. Alittle work ha s to be done to change it into a little palast. It has a nice little garden with a wooden siiting area an above there is a balcony with table for four.
There a many delis and two supermarkets right the corner, the tube is aonly a few blocks away, if you want to explore manhattan. Over all good for travellers who want to feel the brooklyn style and getting over to manhattan.
For bbq-fans you should go for dinosaur-bbq (604 Union St) and thats was our favourite The Brooklyn Ice House ( 318 Van Brunt St).
Peter Luger Steak house, maybe the worldst famous and the best is located in Brooklyn too.
We enjoyed our trip and it was a pleasure to live there. For a visit in NYC with a couple of friends its a really good alternative place to stay.

Liebevoll renovierte und eingerichtete Altbau-Wohnung, die Küche allerdings war klein und ihre Ausstattung provisorisch. Sehr ruhige Lage und gute Subway-Anbindung. Nachts toller Blick auf das beleuchtete Empire State Building. Großer Supermarkt gleich um die Ecke.

We were two couples from Berlin/GER. It was ok, but one bedroom is quite small for two people. Safe neighbourhood, perfect people around, wether the mta service crew on Kingston-Throop station or the neighbours. Near to fantastic food mart supermarket, the flat is placed between two metro stations, one the Express station Nostrand Ave. One of the best Italian restaurants of NY in a foot walks range. Rooftop Views of Manhattan is perfectly correct ;-) BED-STUY is probably THE coming boro after Williamsburg. So, this apartment is a great place to start with NY or just having a calm and safe home for a few days in a 20 min subway range to Brooklyn Bridge/Manhattan.

Sehr geräumige Unterkunft mit viel Vintage-Charme, der kleinere
Mängel (undichte Fenster/Spülmaschine) schnell vergessen ließ.

Die Unterkunft ist außergewöhnlich und war früher sicherlich sehr prunkvoll und herrschaftlich. Jetzt ist alles schon in die Jahre gekommen aber der alte Charme ist geblieben. Es gleicht an manchen Ecken einer Baustelle aber das ist wohl the american way of living und sauber ist es auch. Wer außergewöhnlich wohnen möchte und große Hotels mit Teppichboten nicht mag, ist hier genau richtig. Die Wohnung ist gut gelegen zur Metro und die Nachbarschaft sicher.

Sehr gute. Lage, mit dem Express Zug a ist man schnell in Manhatten. Sehr guter Service des Vermieters. Gibt auch auf Nachfrage Taxitipps und Co. Ist sehr schnell mit Antworten. Alles sehr unkompliziert. Die Unterkunft ist wie immer in den USA außen hui, innen sehr kaputt, weil gepfuscht repariert. Das liegt weniger am Vermieter, sondern eher an der schnellen huschhusch Mentalität der Amerikaner oder eben der Überkorrektheit der Deutschen. Wir kämen wieder!

The apartment was clean and everything was in a good condition.
Especially the location in Brooklyn is perfect fo a visit of New York.
Beside the good transport connection (15 up to 20 min to Manhatten) it is great to see also a part of New York which is not totally "cleaned" for the tourists.

Das Appartment ist super. Die Fotos untertreiben. Es ist sehr geräumig auf zwei Ebenen. Wir waren zu viert. Es könnten aber auch mehr Leute übernachten. Die Lage ist eigentlich gut. Bis zur Subway max. 5 min zu Fuss. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind auch in der Nähe. Der einzige Nachteil ist der Geräuschpegel durch den Verkehr. Das Appartment liegt an einer rel. viel befahrenen Straße und die Brooklyner hupen gern, hören gern sehr laute Musik im Auto und das ein oder andere Auto/Lkw/Bus ist sowieso sehr laut.

Die Wohnung hat eine großartiges Potenzial. Wunderschöne Räume, viel Licht, viel Raum. Und einen leichten Baustellencharme. Mich hats nicht gestört, ist aber gewöhnungsbedürftig.

Great artistic house and great neighbourhood very safe.
Just need to refurbish the kitchen and complete the kitchen utensils.

An einer Straßenkreuzung gelegen, nachts sehr laut.
Stylisches Appartement, sehr geräumig.
